We would like to acknowledge and honor the Indigenous communities of the Las Vegas region, recognizing that we are situated on the traditional homelands of the Nuwu (Southern Paiute), Moapa Paiute, and Nuwuwu Chemeheuvi people. These communities have a rich history and cultural heritage, with a deep connection to the land and natural resources that have sustained their ancestors for generations. We offer our gratitude for the opportunity to live, work, and learn on this land, and we encourage all who sit in ceremony with us to engage in continued learning about the Indigenous peoples who have lived here since time immemorial.
