Tea Ceremony is an ancient ritual… a wordless prayer between water, leaf, and fire…

In ceremony, Tea helps us return to the truest expression of the self.

Simple. Unadorned. Present.

Sit for Tea

“Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.”

~ Thich Nhat Hanh

Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • When you arrive, we’ll take a few minutes to settle into the tea room before entering into silence.

Ceremony is held for an hour. We will play curated music and you will be served multiple bowls of tea in silence. There is nothing else you need to know, nothing else you need to do, nothing else you need to prepare for. All that is asked is that you receive the tea as fully as you are able.

Once the silent container is closed, the space is opened for any optional shares or questions. This is a wonderful time to connect deeply and receive reflections from others.

  • There’s nothing you need to prepare in advance.

Please wear seasonally appropriate, comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

Please refrain from bringing technology, strong fragrances, or any other personal items that may distract from the shared space.

  • Tea ceremonies are hosted at a private residence, conveniently located in southeast Las Vegas near the intersection of Windmill Road and the 215. The address will be shared in the confirmation email when you schedule your appointment.

  • Our Tea Ceremonies are offered on a sliding-scale, donation-based model of $20-$30.

The range is an invitation and guide. Please choose an amount that feels sincere, sustainable, and aligned with your current resources.

Your contribution supports future tea and teaware, continued study, and helps keep this space accessible to all who feel called to sit in Tea.

If you need additional financial support at this time, please use the code COMMUNITY for a complimentary tea sit.

Above all, it is our joy to share Tea with all who feel called to this practice.

  • We prioritize sourcing "living tea," which is seed propagated in biodiverse environments with ample space to grow. These teas are chemical-free and rely on natural irrigation, allowing their roots to grow deep into the mountains they call home.

Our commitment to living teas supports healthy relationships between plants, people, and the planet, ensuring a sustainable and nurturing tea experience for many years to come. Our most beloved tea shops are Global Tea Hut, Grand Yunnan Tea, and Living Tea.
