SILENT TEA &
MEDITATION RETREAT

September 20th, 2025
7:00AM - 2:00PM
Las Vegas, NV

Welcome

I’m honored to host you for a silent tea retreat at my home, The Mojave House of Tea.

For over 15,000 years, tea has been a medicine for all sorts of maladies. Growing high on the mountain tops, the tea mystics of old nurtured these beautiful spirits and cultivated their medicine over time through various fermentation and aging processes.

Like the sages who climbed the mountain to the tea trees and tea houses on the summit, this retreat is a symbolic step away from the world … an act of devotion to our highest selves, a love letter to the child inside.

Together we will carve out time to Be — nothing more. Simply time to be with ourselves, to listen to the whispers within, to commune with Tea and allow her to connect us back to the truest parts of our humanity.

We are tea. We are nature. We are each other.

I am honored to journey up the mountain with you. Read on for more details and everything you’ll need to know for this mini-retreat of silence and quietude.

Space is limited to 5 guests. If you feel the call to join this space, please reserve your seat.

With so much love,
Kamryn Grace

Retreat Guide

  • To prepare for the retreat, create space to settle on an intention for your hours of silence.

    • What draws you to this space?

    • Is there a part of you that is asking for acknowledgement and recognition?

    • What wisdom might the silence have for you?

    Tune in and listen.

Practice noble silence upon waking the day of the retreat. This means silence of body, speech and mind. Take care to avoid all forms of sensory stimulation like cell phones, computers, books, music, etc to the best of your abilities. Allow yourself to quiet and slow down. This retreat is a very short time to be present, introspective, and disconnected from the world. Take advantage of this short and sacred space.

  • 6:30 AM – Doors open, settle in

7:00 AM – Opening prayer & first tea ceremony (60 min)

    8:00 AM – Light bites & refreshments

    8:30 AM – Silent meditation & reflection

11:30 AM – Second tea ceremony & closing prayer (60 min)

    12:30 PM – Lunch & connection

    2:00 PM – Doors close

  • Two tea ceremonies will accompany the retreat.

The first ceremony will begin at 7:30 AM after the opening prayer.

The second ceremony will begin at 11:30 AM and will signal the end of the retreat with a closing prayer.

Both ceremonies will last 60 minutes and will be served in the sidehandle method.

  • For the majority of the retreat we will be in quiet repose and noble silence. We will have several spaces available for participants to use as they please. We encourage you to be as present as possible during your meditation and refrain from sleeping. Cushions and seats will be available to you for your comfort.

You are welcome to journal or create light movement during the retreat, but please keep the other participants in mind so as not to distract. And, of course, to maintain a noble silence in your thoughts and movements through whatever medium you would like to express yourself with.

  • We will practice noble silence of the mind, body, and voice for the duration of the retreat.

Music will be played to accompany each tea ceremony, but otherwise we will remain in quietude.

Feel free to journal or create light movement during the retreat, but please keep the other participants in mind so as not to become a distraction. And, of course, to maintain a noble silence in your thoughts and movements through whatever medium you would like to express yourself with.

  • Light bites will be set out after the first tea ceremony and filtered water will be available in the kitchen.

After the second tea ceremony, we’ll share a nourishing lunch together. This will be a beautiful time to connect and integrate your experience.

  • This retreat will be held at my home in southeast Las Vegas, The Mojave House of Tea.

The front porch, living room, kitchen and dining area, patio, and office will be available for use during the retreat.

We’ll gather again for our second 60-minute tea ceremony, ending with a closing prayer. This marks the end of our silent retreat.
